# Version history

> Every successful version of your app is saved. Restore any of them in one click.


Draftship saves a snapshot of all of your app's files every time a version builds successfully — after the first build, every edit, clones and restores.

## Restore a version

1. Open **Dashboard → Version history**.
2. Pick a version and click **Restore**.

Draftship replaces the code with that snapshot, removes files the snapshot didn't have, rebuilds and republishes. Restoring doesn't call the AI, so it doesn't use your limits. The restored version becomes a new entry at the top, so you can always go back again.

## What isn't restored

Version history covers code only. Your database records, app users, secrets and analytics stay as they are.

## How many versions

The latest 50 versions of each project are kept.
