Building a website
Use Draftship for landing pages, portfolios and business sites that look designed rather than generated.
Use Draftship for landing pages, portfolios and business sites that look designed rather than generated.
Websites are apps without much logic — so the quality of your description matters most.
Name the sections you want and what each one should say or do:
"A one-page site for a ceramics studio: a hero with a large photo and a 'Book a class' button, a grid of six classes with prices, an about section, three testimonials, opening hours, and a contact form that saves messages."
Tell Draftship the mood rather than exact CSS: "warm and minimal, cream background, serif headings", "bold and dark with neon accents". You can always follow up with "use a bigger font for headings" or "make it feel more premium".
Contact forms, waitlists and booking forms save their submissions to your app's database. Ask for "admin-only read" so only you can see them — see Managing data permissions. Read submissions in the Data tab.
Your site is live at its Draftship address as soon as it builds. To use your own domain, see Connecting a custom domain.
